Global Rainbow is an installation of public art created with seven rays of high specification laser light, invented by New York and Berlin based visual artist, Yvette Mattern. She sees her rainbow art as a visual expression of hope and peace, and she aims to connect all demographics in a beautifully engaging experience. Her work has mainly been exhibited in the western parts of the world including the US (New York, Pittsburgh, New Haven), England (London), Germany (Berlin), and Sweden (Smogen)— and this exhibition in Kobe is the first time her work will be exhibited in Japan and Asia.
